Air Quality Alert Extended Through The Weekend

public domain

Louisville regulators have extended Friday's air quality alert through Saturday and Sunday, warning that ozone levels will continue to be high enough to be unhealthy for sensitive groups like children, the elderly and people with breathing disorders.

The Air Pollution Control District recommends that on air quality alert days, people take steps to avoid pumping excess pollution into the air.

Regulators suggest taking public transportation, not using gas-powered lawn mowers and combining your errands into one trip.
