A bill that would make sexual harassment training mandatory for Kentucky state lawmakers is poised to become law.Currently, such training isn’t mandatory for lawmakers. But an amendment to an ethics bill would change that. The bill has passed both chambers and awaits the governor's signature. The bills were filed as a response to the alleged behavior of former Rep. John Arnold, a Sturgis Democrat, who wasaccused in formal ethics complaints of sexually harassingthree African-American female state employees. In a decision in that case made on Tuesday, the Kentucky Legislative Ethics Commission found Arnold not guilty of the charges.
