Details Emerge on Vacant Properties Committee

Louisville Metro Council President Jim King has created three ad hoc committees this year, including one to address the growth of vacant properties across the city.According to a 2010 report, 15 percent of homes and business are abandoned in some neighborhoods.Today on Here and Now, WFPL's political editor Phillip Bailey spoke with Councilwoman Attica Woodson Scott, who was named vice-chair of the Vacant Properties Committee, about the new panel and what Metro Government can do to crack down on delinquent owners.
