The result is&nbsp;<a href="http://www.gallup.com/poll/158066/special-report-adults-identify-lgbt.aspx">the largest single study of the distribution of the LGBT population in the U.S.</a>&nbsp;on record, revealing data that turns the stereotype of the affluent, white, gay man on its head.
