It's meant to serve some 100,000 residents from across the area. Other regional libraries are planned for northeast and south-central Louisville.</p><p>While unveiling the plans, city officials touted the new library's size and scope. In addition to 100,000 books, they say the library will feature modern technology, computer access and large meeting rooms.
