Authorities say six inches of rain fell on parts of the city over the weekend, prompting dozens of evacuations and rescues from flash flooding in low-lying areas, mainly in south-central Louisville.</p><p>MetroSafe officials say they helped more than 80 people escape water that was waist-deep in spots.
