Here's How Much It's Snowed In Louisville Back to 1950 (So Far)

The chart below could be quite different by Thursday morning.

After a mild (as far as snow goes) December and January, Louisville may could come close to, or even top, the overall snowfall totals from the seemingly epic winter of 2013-14.

As matters stood early Wednesday afternoon, here's how much snow Louisville has gotten all the way back to the winter of 1950-51.

If a March snowstorm seems out of place for Louisville, consider this: It's snowed at least an inch in March the last three years.

In March 2008, Louisville got a total of 10.6 inches of snow—the most of any month in the 2007-08 winter weather season, according to the Kentucky Climate Center. And in March 1960, Louisville got 22.9 inches.
