JCPS on 2-Hour Delay Thursday Because of Winter Weather Concerns, Again

Update 6:35 a.m.: It's ColdAt about 6 a.m. Thursday, the temperature in Louisville was 9 degrees—and the wind chill was -10, the National Weather Service said. There was a chance of flurries before 9 a.m., also.Jefferson County Public Schools is on a two-hour delay Thursday. A handful of other school districts are closed. There's a list below.Earlier: Temperatures will drop to the single digits early Thursday morning and not get out of the teens until Friday, the National Weather Service said.With road conditions not great after Tuesday's snow,Jefferson County Public schools again plans to delay the start of classes by two hours on Thursday. (No transportation will be provided for early childhood programs, too.)JCPS adds:

A wind chill advisory has been issued for Louisville and the surrounding area from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
