Kentucky Wildcats Get No. 2 Seed in Women's NCAA Tournament; Louisville Earns No. 3 Seed

In the pairings for the 2015 women’s NCAA basketball tournament announced Monday evening, the Kentucky Wildcats are seeded second in their region and will face Tennessee State on Friday in opening round play in Lexington.

The Louisville Cardinals are a No. 3 seed in the same region and takes on BYU Saturday in Tampa, Florida. No. 12 seed Western Kentucky faces Texas in first round play Thursday in Berkeley, California.

The overall top seed is South Carolina.
