Kentucky Wildcats Led Nation in 2012-13 Men's Basketball Attendance

The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team did not have a great 2012-13 season. Fresh off a national championship, they finished 21-12 and had a disappointing run in the National Invitational Tournament.The Louisville Cardinals, on the other hand, finished 35-5 and won the national title.But the Wildcats still averaged more fans at their home games—more than UofL and every other college basketball team in the nation, according to data released by the NCAA. The Cardinals and the Indiana Hoosiers made the top five.Here's the Top 10 from NCAA.com: School Games Attendance Average 1. Kentucky 18 415,775 23,099 2. Syracuse 19 426,347 22,439 3. Ohio St. 18 297,428 16,524 10. Kansas 18 295,889 16,438For what it's worth, Syracuse finished 30-10, North Carolina finished 25-11 and Indiana finished 29-7.
