The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft is extending the 50 Years of Studio Glass exhibit through July 29. The exhibition celebrates the first half-century of the studio art glass movement in the United States. It's part of a national effort that includes live glass demonstrations, lectures and exhibits at museums and universities across the country. The exhibition includes work from more than 60 artists, including several Kentucky artists like Stephen Rolfe Powell, Paul Nelson, Brook White and Che Rhodes. "Pioneers of Studio Glass," a documentary about the 1962 art glass workshops in Toledo that first experimented with making glass outside a factory, plays at the exhibit.Watch a slideshow of photos from 50 Years of Studio Glass.
