Louisville Cardinals Seek to Take Down Powerhouse No. 2 in Women's NCAA Tournament

The Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball team seeks its second Final Four appearance in program history tonight against longtime powerhouse Tennessee.The fifth-seeded Cardinals have some experience taking down the marquee names of the women’s game. They’re coming off an upsetvictory over the defending national champion Baylor Lady Bears,the top-ranked team in the nation.The second-seeded Lady Vols are seeking their first Final Four appearance without legendary coach Pat Summitt, who led the program to eight national titles before retiring last year.Louisville’s only Final Four appearance came in 2009, when Coach Jeff Walz and star player  Angel McCoughtry led the team to the national championship game.The Cardinals and Lady Vols tip off in Oklahoma City at 9 tonight.
