Louisvillians gathered Wednesday evening at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue in the Highlands to memorialize three teenagers whose bodies were found in Israel on Monday, weeks after they were kidnapped while hitchhiking. The service for the teens—Eyal Yifrach, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Fraenkel, 16—was planned by the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Louisville Board of Rabbis and Cantors.“Look at their faces. These could be our neighbors. Gilad could live in Middletown, Eyal could live in Old Louisville, Naftali could be in Prospect. These are just kids, like any other kids in the world,” said Matt Goldberg, Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council.
