WHAS radio talk show host Mandy Connell is leaving Louisville for Denver.
Connell began hosting her show on WHAS three years ago. Beginning next month, she’ll be a host at a station in Denver owned by WHAS parent company Clear Channel.
On her show, Connell took calls from listeners and discussed various topics, usually related to politics.
On various occasions, Connell courted controversy, typically on matters of race. Earlier this year, she issued an apology to the Anti-Defamation League for comments comparing gun registration to the tagging of Jews in Nazi Germany.
A statement posted on the WHAS website says Connell will contribute daily commentaries to WHAS after she moves to Denver. Her last show is August 9.
