Map Shows Density of Bike-Car Collisions

After first finding an increase in bike-car collisions in Louisville between 2010 and 2011, the Map Grapher blog has (that's right)mapped collision density. The map shows highest density downtown and in Old Louisville, the Highlands and between Parkland and Russell. However, patches of medium density pepper the county, and tendrils branch out from the urban core in every direction, especially to the southwest, with spikes near Beechmont and Shively. You can see all the information on the Map Grapher site
