Stan Cook, WFPL's midday host, has enjoyed a long and illustrious career in broadcasting. His first job in radio was as a news anchor on the campus station at Murray State University. Since then, he's stuck mostly with radio, with brief stints at the Army Corp of Engineers and the Red Cross, just to keep things fresh. When he's not behind the microphone, Stan can often be found sitting on the back porch with his cat Sugar, sharing a bottle of wine (though we're not sure how much Sugar gets). Stan especially likes working as WFPL's midday host during the holidays, when he gets to say things like "leopard hoodie footie pajamas."
