Louisville Metro Police's training academy on Friday graduated 23 new police officers and an Alcoholic Beverage Control officer.During the ceremony at the Iroquois Amphitheater, Mayor Greg Fischer thanked Metro Council members for their vote in favor of the LG&E fee.The LG&E fee, Fischer said, will allow for more officers and increased public safety in Louisville.Metro Academy class' president, Officer Joseph Fox II, thanked family, friends and loved ones for being there throughout the six months of training.
