Police: Suspect in Gardiner Lane Shootings Appears to be Among the 3 Dead

Update 8:30: The person suspected in the fatal shootings in an apartment on Gardiner Lane on Wednesday afternoon appears to be among the three dead, Louisville Metro Police say.Three people died in the shooting; one was at University Hospital in critical condition, police say.The dead are a juvenile girl, a 38-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, says Dwight Mitchell, an LMPD spokesman. They were pronounced dead at the scene.The injured person is a woman in her 60s.Police believe it's a "domestic-related shooting," Mitchell says.The LMPD Homicide Unit's investigation is on-going.Update: Three people are dead Wednesday afternoon in the shooting on the 1900 block of Gardiner Lane, Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell says.A fourth person was injured. They were found in the same apartment unit, Mitchell said.Police are not seeking a shooter, he adds.And that's all Mitchell would say about that.No information is available also about the ages and sexes of the victims, he says.The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating.Update: Multiple people are dead after a shooting Wednesday afternoon on the 1900 block of Gardiner Lane, a Louisville Metro Police spokesman says.Earlier: Louisville Metro Police are investigating on the 1900 block of Gardiner Lane Wednesday afternoon after at least four people were shot, says MetroSafe Communications.The shooting was reported to police at 4:22 p.m.The victims’ conditions are unknown at this time.
