Alec Baldwin's "Here's the Thing" Is Coming to WFPL: Celebrate With Five Baldwin Gems
Since last fall, actor Alec Baldwin has been producing an interview podcast for WNYC in New York called Here's the Thing.
It's great. And if you haven't been listening to it, here's your chance. WFPL is airing five radio specials of Here's the Thing all next week at 7 p.m. (relax, Q fans, Jian will be back the following week).
Guests for the week include:
- David Letterman
- Michael Douglas
- Chris Rock
- Herb Alpert
- Lorne Michaels
- Erica Jong & Molly Jong-Fast
- Kristen Wiig
- Dick Cavett
- Billy Joel
Each interview is stellar, and to celebrate the show, we'll share our five favorite Alec Baldwin moments.
1. Why the tuxedo? From 30 Rock.
2. Obligatory Glengarry Glen Ross speech. (Warning: Language!)
3. Christmas-themed Glengarry Glen Ross parody from SNL. (Warning: More Language!)
What? You were expecting Pete Shweddy?
