Gun Rights Groups Make Conflicting Endorsements In Fourth District Primary
Two competing gun rights organizations have made conflicting endorsements in Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District Republican primary. The National Rifle Association has endorsed Alecia Webb-Edgington, while the less well-known National Association for Gun Rights is backing Thomas Massie. The NRA, in a statement, praised Webb-Edgington’s support of the Second Amendment as a state lawmaker. Webb-Edgington and Massie are considered two of the three frontrunners in the contest to replace retiring Congressman Geoff Davis. Boone County Judge Executive Gary Moore is the third.
