Here's Who's Running for Louisville Metro Offices in 2014

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer will have a Republican challenger in the 2014 election. And the Democratic primary for the Louisville Metro Council district being vacated by Tina Ward-Pugh will have 13 candidates. Four Council members will have no challenger at all, barring independents entering the races.The filing deadline to run in Kentucky's primary election closed on Tuesday and the official list of candidates was released Wednesday afternoon. Here are the candidates who filed for the primaries for Louisville Metro and Jefferson County offices. Independent candidates can still file to run.If you're having trouble seeing the list, go here.Also, 7 people are running for justice of the peace and 11 people are running for Jefferson County's constable seats.We'll have more on the races in the days and weeks to come. Stay tuned.Update 10:40 a.m. Thursday: Joan "Toni" Stringer has withdrawn from the District 5 Metro Council Democratic primary.
