Indiana Encourages Flu Vaccination; Gov. Mike Pence Gets His

Indiana officials are encouraging Hoosiers to be vaccinated against the influenza virus — and the state's new governor on Thursday heeded the call.

Here's more from the governor's office: The 2012/13 flu season has been severe across the nation, with a higher number of hospitalizations and deaths than in recent years. Flu season typically lasts from October through May, so it's not too late to become vaccinated. Hoosiers can get information on locations offering flu vaccines here.Indiana has had more thana dozen flu deaths this season.
