Jennifer Lawrence Wins Golden Globe for 'American Hustle'

For the second straight year, Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe Award, this time for in the supporting performance category.Lawrence, 23, was awarded the Golden Globe on Sunday night for her role in "American Hustle," which also stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper. In 2013, she was awarded the outstanding actress Golden Globe for "Silver Linings Playbook"—and would go on to win the Academy Award for best actress. It was her third Golden Globe nomination, the first coming in 2010 for her breakout role in "Winter's Bone" and she won last year for "Silver Linings Playbook."The other nominees this year were Sally Hawkins ("Blue Jasmine"), Lupita Nyong'o ("12 Years a Slave"), Julia Roberts ("August: Osage County")  and June Squibb ("Nebraska").Her other big film of 2013, "Hunger Games: Catching Fire," was the top film in domestic gross in 2013, bringing in $414 million, according toBox Office Mojo. It's the first film with awoman lead in 40 years to do s0.
