Kentucky FOP Endorses Adkins
Democratic candidate Bill Adkins has been endorsed by the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police in the Fourth Congressional District race.
"I am honored to have the support of the professional law enforcement officers in Kentucky who put their lives on the line everyday to protect our citizens," Adkins said in a news release. "Police officers and first responders have made their decision about whom they trust to represent their interests in Washington, D.C. It is with gratitude I accept this endorsement and I will make certain these professionals have the resources they need to do their jobs."
The labor union represents 9,500 law enforcement officers across the commonwealth.
Adkins is running against Republican Lewis County Judge-Executive Thomas Massie in the November election.
