Indiana University has announced actress Meryl Streep will receive an honorary doctoral degree during an April visit to the Bloomington campus.

Streep will receive the degree during a ceremony in the beginning of her Jorgensen Guest Filmmaker Lecture on April 16.

She’s up for an Oscar this year for her role in the film August: Osage County.
