Nathan Salsburg on the Legacy of Pete Seeger

Across the country and beyond, many are mourning the loss of Pete Seeger who died Monday. Seeger was an iconic musician who inspired a folk revival post World War II, and was equally well known for the social causes he championed.

My guest Nathan Salsburg of Louisville is curator of the Alan Lomax archive, and has spent years researching and archiving early American folk music. I asked him to reflect on the legacy of Pete Seeger.
