NCAA Baseball: Cards Beat Cats, Advance to Super Regionals

For the second straight year, the Louisville Cardinals are headed for the super regionals of the NCAA baseball championship.

U of L beat Kentucky 4-1 in a weather-delayed regional game Sunday night at Jim Patterson Stadium to advance to the next round. U of L is trying for its second consecutive College World Series appearance.

The Cards will host either Kennesaw State or Alabama next weekend in the best-of-three super regional round.

In the Bloomington regional, Indiana and Stanford will square off this afternoon in their final matchup.
