No Snow on Christmas for Louisville, but Maybe on Wednesday

Louisville looks to have a wet Christmas night -- and maybe snow on Wednesday.Rain is expected to move into the Louisville area Tuesday evening, and the precipitation would stay until Wednesday evening, said Tom Reaugh, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service. The temperature will drop through Wednesday, which means the rain would transition to snowfall as the day goes on.Louisville may get about an inch of precipitation through Wednesday, Reaugh said. As much as two inches are possible further north. That, of course, could change as Wednesday gets nearer.Reaugh said he doesn't expect Wednesday's snow to cause many problems for daytime travelers -- the snow would mostly stick to grassy areas."Any snow will be really light," he said. But traveling on Louisville roads could be trickier Wednesday evening as the temperature drops further, he said.
