Officials Urging Kentuckians to Fill Out Transportation Survey
Officials are urging citizens to make their voices heard about Kentucky’s transportation needs by filling out a survey.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Ryan Watts says there’s a February 25 deadline to fill out the survey, which will help the agency update its long-range plans to accommodate the state’s transportation needs.
"We’re looking forward to reading what each respondent has to say because they are the eyes and ears in our communities and they can identify some of these transportation issues or other problems we have overlooked or haven’t addressed yet," he said.
Watts says nearly 12,000 people have filled out the survey online and hundreds more have responded by mail. The confidential survey has 19 questions covering demographics, transportation wants and needs and options for funding.
