Radiolab and Studio 360 Return to WFPL and Other August Changes
Second, Fridays are changing. We’ll now bring you local, national and international news from 1-3 p.m. with Here & Now. Byline will be going away, but many of the features of the show will now fold into Here & Now, including our conversations about the week's political stories. And Erin Keane's weekend arts preview is moving to Here & Now on Thursdays at 1:49 p.m., to give you more time to make weekend plans.
One other note for its diehard fans: Science Friday will now air at 3 p.m. every Friday.
Bob Edwards Weekend is moving from Saturday afternoons to Friday night at 9 p.m., after rising star Jesse Thorn’s interview program Bullseye, which airs at 8. And, for some listeners this will be the biggest and best news: Radiolab is back and features new episodes every week! Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich will take over 89.3 FM every Saturday from 4-5.
Balancing the needs and desires of 96,000 listeners isn't easy, but we hope you enjoy the new schedule, and, as always, let us know what you think.
