Watch the Trailer for Kentucky Shakespeare's 'Henry V'

Kentucky Shakespeare opens its second mainstage festival production Friday in Central Park. "Henry V" is best known for its rousing St. Crispin's Day speech, but it looks like Amy Attaway's staging (with fight direction by J. Barrett Cooper) isn't pulling any fight scene punches.(Side note: Do you say "Henry the Fifth" or "Henry Five?" Why does one sound like a monarch and the other sound like a low-level gangster character in a Hold Steady b-side?)So, that St. Crispin's Day speech. For your nerding-out pleasure: Tom "Loki" Hiddleston performing the famous monologue for PBS's "The Hollow Crown." And, just for contrast, here's a very charming three-year-old giving Loki a run for his money. And one of my personal favorites—because Danny DeVito—is from the semi-awful movie "Renaissance Man." Here, Lillo Brancato Jr. as Private Benitez, a soldier from the Bronx, recites the St. Crispin's Day speech he learned in remedial English class. (Rights seem dodgy on this one, so here's a direct link.)
