SAG Award Goes to Jennifer Lawrence

Another award for J-Law.Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence  on Sunday night won the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a lead role from the Screen Actors Guild for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook.Lawrence vied for the SAG Award against Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Marion Cotillard (Rust and Bone), Helen Mirren (Hitchcock) and Naomi Watts (The Impossible). She attended the Sunday night ceremony despite reportedly suffering from pneumonia. She was also a nominee in the same category in 2011 for Winter's Bone.Lawrence, 22, recentlywon a Golden Globe Awardfor best actress in a comedy; Chastain won in the drama category. They're both nominated this yearfor the Academy Award for Best Actress, along with Naomi Watts (The Impossible), Emmanuella Riva (Amour) and Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild). The SAG Awards are seen as something of a predictorfor the Academy Awards, because actors make up the largest number of Academy voters. The Academy Awards are on Feb. 24.
