Kentucky Derby Festival officials have confirmed that there will be no official military aircrafts flown during this year's Thunder Over Louisville."We are not expecting military to fly," said Amy Boyd, a spokeswoman with KDF.This is something KDF had expected, but Boyd says they received the official work Thursday. Further, she says some planes being flown will be older, retired military aircrafts."Technically we still have military planes. They are still going to be loud noise makers. It's just different versions of those aircraft," she says. The KDF team will have an informal meeting with media this afternoon discussing the air acts that will perform.
