Six Derby Horses in Preakness Stakes Field

A field of eleven is entered for tomorrow’s Preakness Stakes, the second jewel in thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown.

Kentucky Derby runner-up Bodemeister was made the morning line favorite this week. He’ll run from post position seven.

Derby winner I’ll Have Another was the early second choice. He’ll break from

post position nine. A Preakness win would set up an opportunity for him to become racing’s first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

The Preakness field of eleven, the smallest since 2007, includes six horses that ran in the Derby.

Post time at Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course is 6:18pm EDT.
