The 60-second spot features the senator rhyming an overview of President Obama's agenda and once again tries to link Grimes to the administration.

Kentucky Republicans are launching a new initiative to force Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes to be more forthright on the campaign trail.

"Ask Alison" will feature a series of questions by the state GOP delivered weekly in an effort to get the first-term secretary of state to clarify her positions on the president's health care law and environmental regulations, among other issues.

FEC Says Facebook PAC Gave Mitch McConnell Too Much Money

The political action committee tied to Facebook has apparently given Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell's re-election campaign an excessive amount in contributions.

This is the second letter from the Federal Election Commission this week questioning if the McConnell campaign received more than the legal limit in donations from various individuals and groups.

FEC: Mitch McConnell Campaign Contributions Appear to Exceed Legal Limits

The Federal Election Commission is threatening to audit Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell's re-election campaign over excessive contributions from individuals and political action committees.

Under federal law, an individual or a single-candidate PAC can donate up to $2,600 per election to a candidate seeking federal office. A multi-candidate PAC is allowed to contribute up to $5,000.

Ledbetter is considered an iconic figure for being the plaintiff in a well-known wage discrimination lawsuit against Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., which went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The campaign to re-elect Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell is taking umbrage with Democratic challenger Allison Lundergan Grimes for putting too much focus on a Tweet by a national GOP group.

Supporters of Kentucky's senior senator slammed Grimes for trying to distract voters and playing the "sexist card," but Team Mitch had no trouble putting Twitter at the forefront when a liberal super PAC attacked the race of McConnell's wife Elaine Chao online.

It’s not often you hear a chorus of bells ringing throughout the state Capitol. But then, Matt Bevin, a bell manufacturer looking to unseat Kentucky’s most powerful politician, doesn’t often show up with dozens of supporters to soapbox months in advance of a Republican primary.

Republican senate candidate Matt Bevin filed paperwork Friday with the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office to officially run in the Republican primary against Sen. Mitch McConnell. Bevin’s press conference in the Capitol rotunda was meant to draw attention to a race that won’t happen for months.

McConnell Camp Dings Larry Forgy Over Harry Reid Donation

The campaign to re-elect Senator Mitch McConnell isn't giving any ground in its Republican primary battle with Matt Bevin over who is the true Kentucky conservative.

Earlier this week, former Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Forgy, a longtime McConnell critic, endorsed Bevin in next year's election.

It was a good sign for Bevin's candidacy to pick up an "old guard" GOP nominee with roots in the state outside of the Tea Party world. The Louisville investor does have the backing of state Tea Party groups, but few well-known Republicans or officials.
