Kentucky Education Department Offers School Districts New ACT Test Dates Snow Days

Jefferson County Public School officials will not delay state mandated ACT testing for high school juniors.

The Kentucky Education Department recently distributed a survey to school districts to find out whether the large number of snow days this academic year have harmed  test preparation.

ACT Testing Company Investigating Louisville Male High School

Officials with the Kentucky Department of Education confirm that the ACT testing company is investigating Jefferson County Public School's Male High School. 

The investigation is being led by ACT Compass, according to KDE spokeswoman Nancy Rodriguez. The Compass is not to be confused with the ACT college entrance exam that high school juniors take each year, though the exam can be used to measure college and career readiness or for local district assessments, says Rodriguez.
