'44 Plays for 44 Presidents' Takes 'Long View' of the Oval Office

“George Washington in the Garden of Eden” opens the show with a creation story. James Garfield’s “Dance of a Thousand Ironies” is a tragic ballet. Thomas Jefferson isn't memorialized, he's roasted, stand-up comedy-style, by Benjamin Franklin. 

The Neo-Futurists of Chicago premiered "43 Plays for 43 Presidents" ten years ago (Actors Theatre of Louisville staged a production in 2008) with a brief play for each occupant of the Oval Office—Grover Cleveland gets two, since his terms weren't consecutive.

Honda Begins Acura Production at Indiana Factory

Honda has begun production of a new Acura model at its Greensburg, Indiana plant.

Company officials and Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman took part in a ceremony today at the plant as workers began building the Acura ILX. 

The model’s gas-powered and gas-electric hybrid versions will be exclusively built at the Greensburg factory.

The Honda plant about 90 miles northeast of Louisville opened in 2008. It roughly doubled its workforce last year by hiring nearly one thousand new employees when it added a second production shift.
