Rudell Stitch, Paul Rogers and a Golf Course Among Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees

The 2014 inductees into the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame includes athletes, coaches, a broadcaster—and a golf course.

Six humans and a 486-plot of land in southeastern Jefferson County will have golden plaques honoring their selection hanging in Freedom Hall.

The president of the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame, Jim Ellis, made the announcement at the KFC Yum! Center.

Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame to Induct Seven New Members Thursday

Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame

The Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame will induct seven new members tomorrow evening.

They include three-time Kentucky Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel, former University of Louisville basketball star Pervis Ellison and tennis champion Julie Ditty.

Three outstanding high school athletes from the Class of 2013 will also be honored.   They are basketball stars Makayla Epps of Marion County High School and Rebecca Greenwell of Owensboro Catholic, along with Louisville Trinity High School football standout James Quick.
