Kentucky Seat Belt Usage Rose in 2012

Wikipedia

Seat belt usage across Kentucky is gradually increasing.  The percentage of people buckling-up went up one-and-a-half percent in 2012.    Adult seat belt usage was around 85 percent, and about 97 percent of children wore seat belts.

Kentucky Office of Highway Safety Director Bill Bell says some motorists still worry about being trapped by a seat belt in a sinking car.
