New Political Action Committee's Aim is for Republicans to Take Kentucky State House

With more than a year before the next elections, new political action committee has formed to help Republicans gain control of the Kentucky state House.

The PAC—Pro-Jobs, Pro-Kentucky—was formed earlier this month by Scott Jennings, a longtime Kentucky  GOP political operative and Mike Adams, a former counsel for the Republican Governor's Association.

Unions, Lawyers Give Big to Super PAC Helping Democrats Defend State House

A Super PAC that is helping defend Democrats is Kentucky state House races has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars. 

Kentucky Family Values is helping Democrats beat back the GOP’s attempt to take control of the House. And one month before the election, the group reported raising $236,000. It still has $190,000 cash on hand.

Northern Kentucky PAC Looks to Expand Influence to State Races

A Republican Super PAC that helped Republican Thomas Massie win the 4th Congressional District primary is looking to expand. 

Americans for Growth, Opportunity and Prosperity, or Ameri-GOP, was founded by two Northern Kentucky businessmen who wanted to help elect Massie.

And after tasting success in that venture, the group is now looking to expand its scope of influence.

The Super PAC registered itself with state election finance officials recently. But they aren’t yet saying which races they intend to influence.

National Republican PAC Plans to Get Involved in Kentucky House Races

A Republican group tasked with winning state-level races across the U.S. has its sights set on Kentucky.

The Republican State Leadership Committee is an independent Republican political action committee that has established itself as a major factor in state legislative races.

The group has been involved in Kentucky legislative races off and on for several years. But with House Republicans making a strong push to win Kentucky’s lower chamber, the committee is once again taking a long look at the Commonwealth.
