Kentucky Lawmakers React to Ruling on Grocery Store Liquor Sales

FRANKFORT — A federal appeals court has struck down a 2012 decision that lifted a ban on Kentucky grocery stores selling liquor and wine.

On this issue, the chatter in Frankfort suggests that a legislative challenge to that ruling, if it happens, isn’t likely to fare well.

Guitar Emporium Likely to Reopen This Month

The store’s walls were mostly empty but for some signed pictures, and a few guitars. Those few guitars were of quality.

There was a Bourgeois Small Jumbo acoustic costing $3,400.  A Gibson Les Paul electric, a rare Martin electric. And while these instruments might excite guitar geeks, they’ll probably get more excited to learn where they hung: the Guitar Emporium.
