Third Louisville Student Dies After Train Accident

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office says a third teen has died after a train struck a car in Louisville.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner David Wood told media that 17-year-old Nagin Thapa died Thursday of traumatic brain injury at University of Louisville Hospital.

Two others died Saturday at the scene of the crash: 19-year-old Suk Man Rai and 16-year-old Chita Chuwan.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries said a fourth teen, Kismat Mishra, is still hospitalized and is making "small improvements each day."

A Jefferson County Public Schools spokesman has said that all four were students. Police say the car was hit after disregarding the train signal.
