Update: 1 Person Still in Critical Condition After Seneca Golf Course Plane Crash

Four people aboard a plane that crashed overnight at Seneca Golf Course (near Bowman Field) were listed in critical condition condition Wednesday morning at University Hospital, a hospital spokesman says.The Cessna 172  crashed while—according to preliminary reports—the pilot was practicing takeoffs and landings, an Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman says.The FAA will handoff its investigation to the National Transportation Safety Board.The single-engine plane was registered to Cardinal Wings Aviation LLC, which is out of Buckner in Oldham County, according to an FAA database. It's certification was good through January 2016.No word yet on who was piloting the aircraft. We'll update if more information becomes available.View Larger MapUpdate: 3:24 p.m.: Three Patients Now in Serious ConditionOne patient  from the plane crash remains in critical condition at University Hospital, a hospital spokesman says. The other three are in serious condition.
