White Appeal Dismissed, Moving To Trial Court

The Indiana Court of Appeals has dismissed an appeal by ousted Secretary of State Charlie White so he can seek a remedy at the trial court.

Nation presided over the trial in which White was convicted in February of six felony counts alleging he used his ex-wife's address to vote and to keep his Fishers Town Council seat. His sentence of a year of home detention was stayed pending appeal.in February.

White's appeals attorney declined comment on the developments.
