After 10 days, WLKY is back on Insight Cable in Louisville.
The station was pulled from the cable lineup earlier this month after Insight parent Time Warner and WLKY owner Hearst Television failed to ink a new retransmission agreement. Retransmission deals stipulate how much money cable operators pay to rebroadcast content.
WLKY has released a statement confirming that a new agreement had been reached.
WLKY is the second local station to temporarily vanish from cable. Earlier this summer, WDRB was out of the lineup for several days as its parent company remained at a similar impasse with Time Warner.
