100 Years of Helping Kids: Louisville’s Cabbage Patch Settlement House

To many people, the image of a settlement house is a black and white photo of an imposing building, in a poor neighborhood, at sometime in the early 20th century. Well, you would be right and wrong. Settlement houses got their start in the late 19th century and some are still going strong. Louisville's Cabbage Patch Settlement House is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and it's anything but a dreary building in an old photo.
