Kentucky-bred American Pharoah, winner of the Derby and Preakness Stakes last month, would be the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

Following Wednesday draw, owner Ahmed Zayed said he’s confident in his colt.

“I think that he’s a special horse,” Zayed said. “What makes him special, in my opinion is the way he moves. He’s the best moving horse I’ve ever seen. And he does everything so easy for him.”
