Independent gubernatorial candidate Gatewood Galbraith and his supporters are gathering at the Crown Plaza in his hometown of Lexington. Galbraith has run for governor several times and he says if this is not his night, it will be somebody’s else’s turn to take on the two major political parties.

“If my ideas and our forthrightness and honesty and solutions do not appeal to the people in the face of the other ticket, then I cannot get the job done,” he said.

Galbraith says his plans for incentive money for high school grads, laptop computers for all eighth graders and moving forward with hemp production have never been dismissed.
