Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Joe Biden will visit Jeffersonville and Louisville Wednesday. This will be Biden’s first visit to Kentucky and second visit to Indiana since joining the presidential ticket. He’ll hold an afternoon rally in Warder Park in Jeffersonville and then attend a fundraiser in Louisville.

Kentucky campaign director Kenya McGruder says the Commonwealth is not likely to draw many more campaign appearances.

“The rally is in Indiana because Indiana has a close election. Barack and Senator McCain are very close and this is a good way to get Indiana and Kentucky involved in the campaign,” she says.

Republican John McCain is favored to win Kentucky in November.
