Bike Summit Solicits Input for Routes, Safety

The all-day event will give attendees the chance to offer feedback on the city’s evolving metro bicycle system plan. They’ll be asked to chime in with ideas on how to encourage Louisvillians to bike to work more.  And organizers also want their opinions on how to integrate bike and pedestrian routes into the entire transportation system.  In addition, participants will be able to suggest ways to make the city safer for cyclists.  Since the first Bike Summit in 2005, the number of bike lanes has grown to 40.
